Horizon’s carbide tool design group is based on over 35 years of combined experience with carbide cutting tools. We utilize fast and versatile SolidWorks to produce carbide tool designs based on the parts you want to cut. Simply provide a print and we can design everything from the carbide insert to the tool holder hardware.
We produce three dimensional models, isometric views, mylars and working drawings all showing the actual geometry of the carbide tool. Interference detection in SolidWorks allows us to be certain that nothing from the carbide insert to the clamp screws touches the part except the carbide cutting tools edges.
